huxmk1estate Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 this morning all was good with my car with the new engine flying until my gearbox didnt wanna play any more.. so i helped a few ppl out but wanted to have another go? so RAZEREDGE offered..... come on 230 bhp xe.... who wouldn't!! the first run in the car was a 14.28 at 98 mph(loved it) the second....... i completely smashed the box!!!! V8ian Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 I think you got the record for the longest time the track was shut today, I dont think I have ever seen so many OSF transmission breakages either, the track must have been really sticky, But hey, dont worry, nobody was hurt, but not many people can claim to have split a gearbox case in Half If there was a OSF breakage of the year, I think you may have your name on it,

I thrashed the fook out of the car all weekend and i said to you it keep's getting tight but i shouldn't have let you drive it but it seamed to have some miles left in it. But i'd like to thank you for killing it because it is a dead cert that the first interesting car that come past me would have had me in third gear wedged up his arse (some of you might remember me wedged up the arse of a 911 coming back from shakey ) but if that box had gone on the m25 that would have been a pile up with cars sliding on the oil and that could have been very nasty the only thing is you killed it not me and thing's happen for a reason so don't worry
