bad luck mike but thats a typical 5 speed box problem the cases flex ans as being cast if there knocked about they fracture then bang. hence why ive got a alloy case box

was gonna say the same about the cast cases! its very common for them to crack, but its just sods law that yours blew right apart! normally they seep oil out first!! I hope my gearbox dosent blow like the last two ive had coz its really disheartening!! to u both
