over_head_cam Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 Got to follow the rules, or it's cheating

Posse Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 I reckon the timing gear was on stella 82 mph at the 1/8 and 119 at the 1/4
huxmk1estate Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 I reckon the timing gear was on stella 82 mph at the 1/8 and 119 at the 1/4 again....yeah edited..... just spoke to my mate thats works at pod bout the speeds (mph being wrong) and he said its been out for about three weeks... its being sorted as we speak 119.... from a thirteen second car is almost imposable unless you have a turbo or nitrous car and got it wrong!! but thats cheating
Baz. Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 according to a ticket i got here i ran 11.5 @145.02 mph
Toby Posted August 5, 2008 Report Posted August 5, 2008 119.... from a thirteen second car is almost imposable unless you have a turbo or nitrous car and got it wrong!! You could be on to something there! I recon he's installed the sneaky pete and a turbo - I can't believe how he's changed!

kevmk2 Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 It has run through my mind, but i would only use it down the quarter. And i dont go to the pod much anymore, so not really worth it. Plus its extra stress on the engine, and if it goes pop i cant afford to rebuild it. Plus ive always liked trying to get a quick time without NOS. Plus i was doing 10's it on 7" slicks, not 8 or 9" wide ones
Billy RS2000 Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 i went with my new atmo cossie MK1 but got a big time miss fire and could not sort it but still a good weekend
Toby Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 Plus i was doing 10's it on 7" slicks, not 8 or 9" wide ones That's true, there is only so much stick you can throw at a 7" slick!!
