bomber1 Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 u would need the auto drive train out off a mk2/3 imo but i know sweet f/a
over_head_cam Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 Anything can be done Don't know if they made a Mk1 auto, so bit's from a mk2 would probably be the way to go. Or a mk3/4 escort?
5hane Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 could go cvh and use a mk3/4 auto box ? or will they fit the xflow?
mk2escortmad Posted August 8, 2008 Author Report Posted August 8, 2008 cheeRS for advice guys, there is a mk1 fezza local to me for £250, doesnt look half bad, just wish i could drive a manual
Admin Vista Posted August 8, 2008 Admin Report Posted August 8, 2008 You got shot of the escort again Kyle?
countrybumpkin Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 if i remeber rightly ford did make some aut mk1 fiesta's but there quite rear now, it might be easyer to find a mk2 auto and strip it for parts
longun79 Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 youd probobly need to alter the inner wing as the auto box is bigger iirc, its the same mod to accomodate the 5speed to a mk1 hope this helps and hope you get 1 sorted
mk2escortmad Posted August 8, 2008 Author Report Posted August 8, 2008 no the escort not gone scott, still got my baby, she off the road at the moment as im doing bits and pieces to her, just a whim really to use another osf while the escy off the road, but i just stick with the sh*tty focus lol cheeRS again for the help guys, just an idea really, bad one tho lol
bert Posted August 8, 2008 Report Posted August 8, 2008 the CVH and xflow share the same bolt pattern for the boxes, if you could find a autobox that fits a CVH it will fit.
