Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 its a long process mate, 1st you gotta file the cast marks out, then use 180 grit paper to get rid of the file marks, then 400 paper to get rid of the 180 grit marks, then 1200 wet n dry to get rid of the 400 grit marks, then solvol autosol to bring up the shine, took me 2 hours and ive been polishing alloy for 30 years.. i also use a polishing wheel (home made) .
