SAF_Capri Posted August 17, 2008 Author Report Posted August 17, 2008 not sure, dont want to say the village becasue of all recent thefts, but it did have an 'old skool' sticker in the back window.
Lukey48screamer Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 I know what your seeing mate, its like a Mk2 front with Mk1 rear quarters with the curves... It is a Mk2 estate just never found out why it wasnt fully mk2 shaped lol!
bortaf Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 Vans are the same aint they ? IE Mk1 rear with a Mk2 front end?
mk2estate Posted August 26, 2008 Report Posted August 26, 2008 lost count of how many people think my mk2 is a mk1 till they see the front ! somebody actually thought that i'd had the front of a mk2 put on the rear of a mk1 estate, i said "ford did that for me"
bortaf Posted August 27, 2008 Report Posted August 27, 2008 Same on the Mk4/5 cortina, the Mk5 salloon is different (higher roof line ect) the estate is a Mk4 shell with Mk5 wings, they just didn't sell enough to warrant the new tooling for the rear quaters
