Ghost member's

[bigglesmk2]

Just had a random flick through 7 different peoples username's at the bottom of the page who have birthday's today.

5 of them have never even posted and 2 of them made 1 post and they have all been here afew year's ?

Was it somthing we said

[caprinerd]

you have way to much time on your hands

[over_head_cam]

Perhaps they're lurkers

[Vista]

If you browse the memberlist there are thousands who have never posted at all, try PMing them and most of the messages you send will never be read. I put it down to people who sign up to see what's going on but never get around to posting and then drift away again

[bigglesmk2]

Cant we delete them,im no computer boff but would'nt all their sign up info be taking up space on here somwhere?

Info they themself's have forgot

[badchild]

you've got a point there, bound to be slowing the site down somehow?

[ann_capri]

yeh i have to agree there

[caprinerd]

cant one of the admin see to this

[bigglesmk2]

[Mr Sam]

i know some forums if you dont sign in regularly enough you get your account deleted, a bit harsh if you do post now and then

nah, it's just in the database, that wouldn't slow the site down at all.

Maybe another valid point,Lurker's are the one's getting all the info on where we keep our pride'n'joy.
