Ask for a limited mileage classic policy from flux or footman james. Normally no probs with them

was an 1100 but now has a 1300 xflow bloke b4 me decided to tell the dvla even tho there no diff from the outside so annoying as a put loads int o this car for it all to back fire i can insure my mk2 escort 1.3 cheaper but thts no wer near finished as i thought the fiesta would turn out cheaper

Can't see why you'd have to tell them it's had an engine change. As long as you tell them its a 1300 from the start and it says 1300 on the log book then there should be no problem.
