Nettles Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 I used to hack around on this Suzuki GSX1100 Katana all the time a few years ago. Good fun, I seem to remember it was "interesting" to ride Sadly it wasn’t mine though, it belonged to a good friend. Good news is he still owns it!
Retro-gone. Posted September 6, 2008 Author Report Posted September 6, 2008 ah the 80's futuristic Katana, which ironically looks really dated now

Nice bikes you have though. the little benly wont be worth a great deal mate, youd be better keeping it for nostalgic and sentimental reasons than let it go for a coupla hundred quid, the earlier CD/CB175's have only just earned classic status and thier production ended in 1978.

bmxdave Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Loving the Waterbottle. About 7 years ago my Dad had a race tuned KH400. It was a mad little thing, 250 frame with a 400 engine and loads of fancy period stuff only it was race tuned. Was scary quick and the skinny back tire meant wheelspins. It was unrideable in the wet. My mum made him get rid because it was too dangerous. Then, after a ZX400R, a ZZ400R and a 600 bandit he bought an absolutely brilliant RD350. Early frame but with the later Powervalve engine. He had a set of expannies ready to go on, and on the way to its MOT some old man pulled out from the inside lane on a three laned dual carriageway, my dad being in the outaside lane, to do a u turn only to take my Dad out. My Dads mate bought it and its been rebuilt, and stripped ready for paint and hes using the Radiant red and a gold colour to paint it up after he painted my Dads mk1 cortina in Alan Mann colours because he liked them so much. Ill try to find some pics of his RD later. I was having it after him so i was pretty upset. I was Offered an RD125 a few weeks ago though but im gonna leave it, i prefer my cars, and if i got a bike itd be a modern thing like a 600 ninja or blade. Doesnt mean i dont appreciate them though.
