Thanks Retroglam73! All this talk of retro bikes has taken me on a trip down motorcycle memory lane and I found myself going through all my old photo albums looking at photos of all my old bikes.

I didn’t realise how many bikes I have actually owned over the years, so I thought I might as well post up a few pics.

Here are my bikes from my first one through to my present day ride.

Sorry about the picture quality but most of the photos were taken in the days before digital cameras. :D:thumbsup:

Bikes I've had:

'96 Suzuki TS125R, blue an white [still own, in bits, all over my shed and room]

'94 TS125R, yellow and white [rebuilt and sold to my mate]

'90 ZZR600 painted banana yellow with emulsion... [bought for £120, stripped the fairing off, did some work, sold for £385]

'80 Z1000H, fuel injected [still own, was the old man's, still being rebuilt...]

'85/6 Armstrong MT500 [still own, close to being back on the road]

'02 GasGas 250 Supermoto [now in a big pile of bits being rebuilt. Again.]

'91 GPZ900R [just gotta finish paying for it and pick it up from Essex...]

'89 KX500, +1 for spares [still got, still in bits...]

'8- AR125 ratbike. Featured in BSH on several occasions with the previous owner, Urban Terrorist [still got, again another project]

I really must get a job and get some of these sorted.

My dad restored a Kettle a while ago, his was I think "Maui Blue" cost him a fortune in new bits, I think the exhausts and seat set him back over £1500 7/8 years ago. The weight of the thing is ridiculous.

I vaguely remember rebuilding a GT550 engine with him also.

I had an Yamaha RD250DX a few years back and currently own an RD350YPVS, probably should sell it as I doubt I will ride again (mate lost an arm in a bike accident)

I lost most of the use of my left arm and shattered my kneecap [among other things] crashing my bikes. Old man was left for dead at the side of the road by the paramedics after a big smash in '76. We won't ever give up riding though. Too much fun. :ykt:

Another one of his mates lost his leg from just above the knee, uncle had external fixators [same crash, mate was on the back] and they both still ride. Just gotta know what could happen and be prepared for it. Ride to your limits and enjoy it while you can.

Not really sure if this is a classic?! It's a '94 VFR with about 12,000 on the clock. Belonged to my Uncle from new, my Dad got it about 5yrs ago

It's his only bike now & rarely gets used.
