i s0ld my slots to a bloke, fine.

 

he left me feedback saying they dont fit ford....

 

i had these bolted to my capri legs as anyone that looks at my pics knows.

 

so how come they dont fit his mk2 escort????

 

im wel confused i dont know whether to feel guilty or what

 

stud patterns are all the same for 4 stud arent they????

His mk2 might've been bodged/converted prior

 

to his ownership

 

Either that or he jus cant fit wheels

if offset wrong the front wheels maybe rubbing on the struts i know alot of fwd rims have this problem on mk1/2 escorts...

ahh but sierra ones fit if my memory is correct, eg mk3/4 escort wheels don't, they rub like a real bugger

so not really my fault i guess he shud have checked i listed them as ford fitment

Ford fitment is quite a vague statement though, I think if I bid on something listed as that I'd be peeved if they didn't fit and the seller used a woolly definition in his wording as an excuse to get out of taking them back.

 

BUT

 

eBay is very much buyer beware so he had ample opportunity to ask specific questions (I'm assuming he didn't?) I'd try and meet him some where half way if I were you, i.e. suggest he sells them on and if they don't reach what he paid you for them then you'll refund the difference. Ultimately though it's your call.
