trevb Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 Well, me and the mrs are off early tomorrow morning for a mammoth drive to Scotland in the mk1 escy, I’ve nearly finished getting the car ready but just feel we need a bit of the osf luck to make sure we get there and back in one piece! Our journey: Thursday, leave from south London at 6am, and drive for 330 mile. Stay in Penrith a camping pod over night, Friday, another 180 miles and a ferry later and we'll be on the Isle Of Bute Sat, my Bro's wedding. (get very drunk) Sun, Head off early ish, and its a 500 mile run home! Just hope the old girl makes it.

trevb Posted September 17, 2008 Author Report Posted September 17, 2008 Bugger! I've spent all day working on the car, got it running really well by lunch time, so i though id fit all the stereo bits, i-pod adapter, and an aerial. a few hours later im sitting back admiring my hard days work, got power to all the bit and everything lights up, so off upstairs to get the security head unit clip off thing, only to realised ive left it at work on the isle of Sheppey! So no music on the drive!

Savvi Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 Good luck Take points, condenser, rotor arm and cap they were the things that used to play up when i did high mileage in a Mk1.
