Retro-gone. Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 next year, after xmas im gonna save up and treat myself to some new wheels, im unsure what would suit the capri tho, i like my chrome rozzers but ive had them on a long time and fancy a change, i like 4spoke revo's and minilites, ive even got chance of oldskool deep dish slotmags that need refurbing.. id appreciate your opinions, and if anyone is clever enough to do a 'photoshop mod' on my car showing new wheels then that would be great.
Copey Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 i dont think the 4 spokes would look right, minilights are overdone, slots are always cool though!!
Stu_B Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 Polished Sl'ags Not a capri... ...but you can see how good they look
Retro-gone. Posted September 17, 2008 Author Report Posted September 17, 2008 what size are those slots mate? the ones im thinkin about are 7x13 rears and 6x13 fronts, im just worried about them catching on the arches, my cars not lowered at mo so dya think they would be ok? mk3 tina looks ace by the way
Admin Vista Posted September 17, 2008 Admin Report Posted September 17, 2008 I liked my old capri on minilites

They did catch the arches at the back but I'll have a higher stiffer back end when it's back on the road so should be ok
Copey Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 13x7's should be ok under the back end retro
caprinerd Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 youve got a mk1 capper got to go retro slots and do that polish thing you do and paint the inserts same colour as car , oh the memories are flooding back now
mk2_escort_chick Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 It's all about the "slut mags"

antz Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 hard decision tony. id say slot mags though cos that keeps in with the 70s theme you have the minilites are over done
danny69 Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 4 spoke 7x13 revos would be my choice.
Retro-gone. Posted September 17, 2008 Author Report Posted September 17, 2008 thats what i decided on long ago but i keep seeing other wheels
Copey Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 thats what i decided on long ago but i keep seeing other wheels haha i have been like that too i was originally goin for 15x7 5-spoke revos, then it was numerous 13x7's ATS classic, Slots, ally cats, star mags, wellers, circle racing the only thing that put me off the revos was the price, but i have come full circle and thought, fook it, i am goin for them, i will be keepin the car for years an they will look the nuts
