on a more serious note though look at the coastal erosion, in the 40 years ive been coming to this place (i lived here as a kid) ive seen quarter of a mile dissapear inc shops, amusements and even the cafe my parents owned in the 60's.. quite sad really.

Was watching a prog on the toob [homes from hell?] that featured a big bit on coastal erosion...

It does make me wonder why the council didn't do jack when it saw that their '10 year plan' or whatever was going to pot because the cliffs were eroding faster than they anticipated, and let the defense that was there just get completely destroyed without replacing it.

Just goes to show how well this country's run.

End rant.

On a happier note, them pics do look nice.

coastal erosion is a serious issue round here, the council wont do anything because they say its 'natural earth erosion , thick c*nts , doesnt mean we cant or shoiuldnt try slowing it down !

if your ever up skipsea or barmston way take time to look at the erosion, its astonishing.
