Coming closer to the date we can organise a meeting area.. thats easy.....McDonalds at the eastern end of the bypass.....
killer Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 Yes was thinking about that. That is a fairly decent spot with plenty of parking, bit of food and even a bar. There are a few other spots in town also... but that is probably the best
killer Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 I have just contacted a guy and he reckons he can round up about 8 cars....! All from the surrounding area. Here is the link to the midlands classic cars site www.kiltoomclassics.com
paulfl Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 Brilliant guys!! Might become a regular if it all works out with a bit of luck!!!
killer Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 I suppose noon or 1pm...?? or even earlier depending on what suits people for the drive home....??
quickrack Posted January 2, 2007 Author Report Posted January 2, 2007 So should we announce it as a firm meet location and date then
killer Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 Definitely so, I have told lots of guys in the RS club. There seems to be to many peolpe thinking it is a good idea for the midlands area... Hopefully everyone appears that say they will..! If it goes well then it might be good to plan one later in the year during better weather for Athlone again....??
paulfl Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 http://z8.invisionfree.com/EveryFord_Ir ... =107&st=30 Guys if attending the event could you cut and paste your name at the end of the thread so we can get a list goin!!!!!
