285Andy Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 hi all! dont know if anyone can help,,,.. i need a steering wheel for my 100e which has a mk2 escort column. i need to use a flat steering wheel and short boss with this though or else i will be looking through the wheel as i drive lmao! just to keep my options open as to which wheel i can fit, do mk1 and 2 escort columns have the same spline pattern/size?? so i can fit either boss to it if you see what i mean? thanks for any help!!

bortaf Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 You'll need pre facelift Mk2 granny (short boss) facelift Mk2 is no good as it's not splined, early Mk1 fiesta or possably Mk3/4/5 cortina which has a longer boss but shorter than Mk2 escort
