Yeomans22 Posted November 17, 2008 Author Report Posted November 17, 2008 thanks for all your replys, its nice to see a mix so either way it should still look good, but i have decided to go with no spoilers for the moment, and the chrome will prpbably be black, and i want a vinyl roof, ill also stick my mex steels on. i will get a rs2000 boot lid re sprayed green so i can always fit a rear spolier to change it up, even it its only a small detail. Paul.
sambo Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 Ditch the chrome, keep the rear spoiler. Fit a Mex front spoiler and that'll look cool.
Mick The Cabbie Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 Spoilers look right if the rest of the cars theme is in keeping. Personally I think with your chrome bumpers and window surrounds, it'll look better without stripes/spoilers. Sometimes less is more you know We had this debate a while back. http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... 26&start=0
Boreham Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 no to the clear lenses... im swaying towards no spoilers but i was some sport decals on the sides and i think they will look out of places without a spoiler, aahh I disagree..can did up an old CF article with a 1600 sport WITHOUT boot spolier.... it looked uber orignal and clean.... i think i could just get a standard boot and rs2000 boot painted so i could always swap between them. good idea give ye the option to change it if ye get anxious about the look
Mick The Cabbie Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Sports never had spoilers fitted in the factory.
steve mk2 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 i think with coz it will suit it better because puting sport decals on it
