are there any 11second road legal anglias out there ?

i was interested in seeing if there is any 11second quarter road going anglias in the uk ? i would like to see whats needed to achive this

My old Anglia (123E - 105E shape) would run 11.20's in full road-legal trim.

 

(it did have a 7 litre V8 lump in it though!)

If it is the "sit up and beg" type then I'm working on one but it's not exactly an 11 second car just yet!

105E shape i don't think there is a current 11 sec 4cyl road car.Steve Drays' car is running very low 12's along with yours.There is a light blue cossie powered car about thats quick but i'm not sure on his times.John Tebenhams old 105e ran in the 9's with cossie power years back in Street Eliminator guise.Wayne WPE's car has also ran low 12's

thanks guys it was realy 105 shape 4cylinder i was thinking was there not two classic ford front cover cars first the metalic blue cossie turbo (what happened to that) and then the pale blue cossie turbo

were these not in the 11 second bracket?

not 4cyl but i know of a twin turbo small block chevy/tube chassis one being built for street/strip

will see what i can do there's a cossie powered bubble arched 100e being built there aswell if the owner gets his fingers out of the pies it could be on the road this year

Wasn't the pale blue one John Tebenhams car? That ended up written off when he rolled it going down the strip

no it was the pale blue cossie anglia that was a cover car in classic ford a couple of years back i think it was for sale on the ebay section a while ago does anyone know what happened to john tebenams origonal car not the tube framed car ?

I think it got a pinto fitted back into it and was sold on , remember seeing it in Street machine classifieds many moons ago
