Iv just got a 100E £50 roling shell from ebay to use as a clasic hotrod on the ovals but the chassis is a bit to bad.

Shall i spaceframe it and drag it with big single turbo engine from my RX7?

I just cant decide.

Lots of work thoe.

I'd love to say hell yeah, but the truth is if you don't know what your all about then the likelyhood is that the project will never get finished (or if it does it'll break your bank getting someone else involved. Best cutting your teeth on something more straightforward and save that idea for another day.

A big V8 will be nice in the space framed 100E :twisted:

Yes yes yes. Big V8, loud pipes - you know it makes sense.

Those rotaries sound awful on open pipes, and do you REALLY want everyone to call you a Wankel?

LOL. Iv had people call me worse.

This project wont be to hard as me and my dad have built many cars befor consisting of f2 stock cars 2ltr hotrods and two kit cars from scratch. (i.e not actualy a manufactured kit)

As for the v8, grate noise but been done to many times.

Been done many times for good reason:

Cheap initial outlay, Cheap replacement parts, cheap performance parts, easy to work on/diagnose/set-up, Rakes of them out there, oh, and the proper thing for an OSF!

If you're worried about being too samey, why not put a mid-engined V8 in it with a trans-axle? With a proper frame & suspension it would handle superbly, and look the dogs to boot. I can just see a 100E wih a small snorkel-scoop out of the roof......

.......I'll have to stop now......getting moist!
