what are the chances of finding an mot`d tax exempt estate that will not require a huge amount of work that i can use daily and improve whilst still driving it. i have been looking for ages but they seem a bit thin on the ground.i will be starting on my mex in the new year but want an estate as it will also be useful.

Dont know if this is any help but there is one for sale in Ireland. Its on buyandsell.net i think in the modified/classic section. Been there couple of months too.

I nearly bought one of these from a scrapyard a few years ago for peanuts. It was snapped up for £100 or £150 by someone, taken to the garage next door & it failed it's MOT on a few minor faults such as wiper blades.

Last time I saw it, it had been sold on again & was used as a hillclimb car.

 

Didn't buy it because it was an estate (tax exempt too if I remember right!) & at the time I was after another 2 door saloon!
