I have been selling a few bits and pieces on Ebay recently, I thought i had set up my pay pal account correctly, however it appears that i hadn't so the money that had come from the sale of those items is sitting in my paypal account, I have now set up the account ok (i think) but it's telling me to contact my bank to confirm 2 payments they have paid into my account?

Does this sound right? How long do I have to wait before I contact my bank to confirm the payments in, it all sounds a bit arse about face way of doing things.

it normally takes a few days for the small amounts to get deposited.. ie:0.01 pence.

Yep,it was the same when I set mine up.

The 2 amounts are tiny,only a few pence each,then you verify the amounts with PayPal and Bob's your uncle.

Go to a cash machine and get a print out of whats been paid in/out.

 

There should be two payments of random amounts of less than £1, I think it only takes a couple of days.

Cool, can't believe that i didn't notice that I hadn't been paid for the bits that I sold on-line. At least its a bit more in the kitty for the kids christmas presents

yep, once account is verified you can either keep that money in pay pal and use it on ebay (my fave)

 

or wack it in your bank account, though they charge for that

if the amount is £50.00 or more it is then free to transfer to a nominated bank account but it takes 5 working days to do so

iv got to do this ..does me in all this brain stuff ..over 300 quid on paypal....

but its free to transfer any funds over 50 quid so im led to believe is this right

anybody know why i can't get paypal on this pc? comes up with a message like "cannot display the page"???? help
