After seeing a programme about how they treat dogs before they eat them, I would not want to fly over Vietnam, let alone land and spend money in the place!

Don't get me wrong, I am not a veggie, but I believe we have a duty to give animals a reasonable life before killing and eating them (in the case of Vietnam, with some animals they skipped the killing bit altogether!).

The only dog farmer that would talk to them (odd how they said they were doing nothing wrong, but most would not allow filming) was the biggest hypocrite I have seen in a long time. he had dogs in his house, but said he would never eat them, and would bury them when they die. Yet he was keeping large dogs (German Shepherd and Chow sized) four to a cage with a wire floor. Yet up the road, there was a beef farm with cows in huge fan cooled sheds, two to each massive pen with straw on the floor and a radio playing!!

Rant over....

agree with you there fred, ive seen programmes on tv about dog meat n watched some horiffic videos in the past! it's sick to even think about it in my opinion, you've only gota look on google and you will find people campaigning about it, once you've watched a video u will never eat dog or cat!

was funny one thoo, didnt realise clarkson hated bikes that much lol :)

Not sure i'd be using the petrol they use in a decent car engine!

2 star with added water  ever wonderd why the bikes kept needing new engines

No petrol stations just a kid at the side of the road with an old milk bottle

It's not just dogs that are treated shite, ever seen what WE do to chickens in battery farms

Very true about the chickens, and I am not happy with that either, but people eat the battery chickens as a matter of economy. The dogs in Nam are treated much the same, but their meat is a delicacy, so it's not like the masses can't survive without it. It's the same with Veal, I NEVER eat Veal, though I did try it, to see what the fuss was about, not impressed. I can live without it, so I do.
