The story goes, our lass wanted an old ford, and spied this at a car show. Ended up buying it, but now she wants something rwd like a mk4 or mk5 cortina or maybe an old granada. She paid a £1000 for it in the summer, tax just ran out, test is till feb 1st, but I can put a full mot on it easy enough. Its got 44k on it from new. It was bought as a mobility car I think, one guy owned it from new, he died, his wife registered it, then passed it to her son, who passed it to the ford garage it came from originally. Then one of the sales staff took it and sold it to us. So its got a few keepers on the log book, although it was pretty much a one owner car 99% of its life. Its pretty mint condition throughout, feels like a new car. She's trying to get back what she paid for it, so we are trying to find an enthusiast, cos its such a mint original example.

haha, rwd usually is in the hands of a doris. But our lass has driven my 2.8 capri and my old 3 litre supra round no problem. Had her own mk1 escort estate in the 80s too, so she'll be alright. Think shes got her heart set on a cortina, but I am trying to convince her to look at mk2 escorts or a nice pinto powered capri too

I know they are not everyones cup of tea, but its a bloody mint car, in such good condition. Not oldskool enough for here, but most people who have seen it in the old ford circles, really like it.
