Savvi Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 It's that time of year where i'm due for my upgrade and as normal not sure which phone to get. Although i fit car kits i'm not really interested in the lastest gadget but want something that has a good camera and can put up with being dropped !!!!! What's everyone else got ?
Durham Fiesta Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 i have a samsung sgh i 900 and thats been alright so far , haven't really dropped it too may times so can't comment on how tough it is
Univex Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 I've just had a google G1. Although i'm not into phones, it's apparently cool as shlt. It does have a lot of funky things on it, but is pretty big.
JAY PS Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Highly recommend 6233 Nokia if you can find one ,simple phone ive driven over mine and it still works ! Avoid the 6220c its doesnt know what day it is half the time but good camera though
Deano1351 Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Just got a sony ericsson c905, 8.1 mp camera which is pukka but i struggle texting because theres no feel to the buttons and if im honest its a bit flimsy, the battery cover is similar thickness to paper and the slide part has already scratched the buttons through me working on building sites and dust getting everywhere, the battery lasts a long time though!! Its just the camera that makes it really, well thats my review, i wont give up the day job

Its just the camera that makes it really, well thats my review, i wont give up the day job I have the same phone and yes its a bit difficult to text on due to the small buttons, also I have found the centre menu button can be a bit tempremental as to whether it wants to work or not. Pukka camera though, which more then makes up for the small faults

V6MAT Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 got the iphone and a case and ive dropped it out of bed this mornibng lol now plugged into wii charging as my sis stole my charger for her ipod
Deano1351 Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 And whatever you do dont fall into the 18 month contract rubbish and never ever pay for a phone, if i had my way it would be on a 6 month contract. Its so easy to play these companies off against each other and they never want to let a good customer go so be vigilant, they make enough money out of us as it is!!
stevepeanut Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 I like motorolla V3 but I have broke a few of them now, shit build quality. I gave up and went out and bought the cheapest nokia with a camera for £25. I really want the JCB tough phone http://www.jcbphone.co.uk/ it looks ace, just the kind for someone like me who breaks em, but think its expensive
