coggers Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 I scanned a load of old Street Machine mags for another forum I'm on , in amongst which were a fair few old Fords so thought you'd like to see them , wondering how many are still around today ? In no particular order then.. 3.0 V6 mk3 cal look Cortina in VW/Audi Cadiz orange.. Granzilla , '75 Granada coupe , 3" roof chop , P6 rear lights and wing sections lengthened 8-9inches , pillarless+frameless windows , split front screen with extending roofline to match . 3.5 V8 . 550hp Chevy engined Pro Street Zephyr Pro street Mk1 Consul , running a 360hp AMC lump December 94 cover car - John Tebenhams nitrous Cossied Anglia May 90 cover car - Mk1 Zodiac pro street , Harris built small block Ford V8 Dunno whether the photo made it better ( or the fact I'm from Newcastle ) but I loved the white/black combo on this one (and I don't mean the ladies trousers.... ) Escort Twin Cam cover car from July 86 May 92 , Mk2 Escort van , 4.6l 283ci Chevy lump , 350hp @6500rpm December 95 cover car and I loved this one , 300E Thames van , 3.9 Rover V8 , narrowed Volvo 240 axle . April 96 , another one running a Rover V8 Feb 96 , I still can't get away with 3 spokes Feb 96 cover car , and yes it used to be a MK1 .. RS2000 front end , Cav MK3 door handles , Chevy 350ci 5.7l , Ford Galaxy narrowed axle. The December 93 cover car , '59 Zephyr , Ford 315ci , Jag axle , roof chopped 2 1/2" , rear doors welded up , Golf indicators , Civic door handles , Consul tail lights. So , how many are still around today ? I know Granzilla is and I know the Chevy engined Zephyr is - how many more are ?
