how did that van come off the drive way :shock:8)8)8)

Funny you mention that. When i first put it at that height the ladder bars bottomed out and i coulnt get it off  I ground the bottoms off and welded a skid plate on. it stayed like that for quite a few years. Its been broken for parts. Some friends gave me a good price for it and they all wanted different bits. Sad really.

the metallic blue two door mk2 zephyr is still owned by tony zammit who built it.

its has sat for approx 10 years under a cover in his parents front garden in swanley kent.

i spoke to tony a few months ago when i did a delivery to his workshop

i asked when the mk2 would be on the road again with a smile he said "one day!"

looks like my push bike will be out of the shed tomorow, i live in swanley

i'm gona go a hunting.

Tony works for and is great mates with my Uncle and they were both into the street machine thing big time, tony had his mk2 zephyr and my uncle had a very custom consul classic and then a model B.. their cars were the absolute nuts.

They both have a load of photos of the builds of these cars, I see if I can get them up on here. Tony will never sell his MK2, I recon it will be back... one day lol
