hiding a cd player

after 3 years of putting off ive just fitted a cd player in the capri, ive never liked the look of them in an old car, and i wasnt keen on puttin it in the glove box either , so....

ive used a nos 70/80's dummy cover to hide the cd player when the cars parked up, it actually looks real when looking thro the car window..

ah, I naievely assumed it was a standard radio front from a capri. but then I remembered you have to cut the dash wider to get a modern stereo in. Doh.

yeah its a dummy facia, hollow inside and just clips onto the cd player, hard to find nowadays , i paid a quid for it at blackpool sea front meet.

i just kept the std tape player and plugged a tape thingy with ipod thingy into the radio... perfect
