SmokeEm Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 I have Tony. All round they're ok but based on experience, I would rather pay a little extra & buy Toyo Proxies for everyday use or R888's for street/strip use

Retro-gone. Posted January 20, 2009 Author Report Posted January 20, 2009 ha ha ha, dunno if your old enough to remember the tv ad for goodyear grand prix S tyres, there was a police chief , his line was.... 'i believe these tyres are a major contribution to road safety' like f**k they are , my front end lets go just as much as the back end but they are 34 years old
Admin Vista Posted January 20, 2009 Admin Report Posted January 20, 2009 but they are 34 years old Jesus, and you drive them on the road at speed? Did you not see the article in 2007 about an MGB driver who was killed when one of his tyres failed suddenly and without warning? They were original low mileage tyres with plenty of tread etc etc passed the MOT but the rubber had degraded (though not visibly) with age.
