my new toy ive been waiting for 1 like this for a long time

i got this capri 2.8i on ebay no pics just said uprated engine missing drivers recaro and small damage to the front

 

it was only 1/2 hour driver away so i stuck it £270 for it and won it not really knowing what im getting but thourgh at that price its worth it for bits

 

this is what i got a

 

180 bhp at the wheels moster

ill give you a small run down of the spec

 

engine

kent cam fast road

vulcan heads stage 2

inlet manifold ported

steel timing gear

k&n

janspeed manifold and sytem sytem is rotten

distributor (racing)

racing spark plugs and leads

 

axel lsd with 3.44.1

 

up rated front sturts and lowerd springs with roller top mounts

adj rear shocks and 1 inch drop on back

 

racing brakes dilled groved

 

bucket seat for drivers seat

 

did have cage and harness but these been taken out

 

and the best thing its not a rot box so im doing it up i love 2.8i capris and after 5 of them ive found a good 1

 

after i got the car back i looked in the boot and found stickers etc saying won a load of things in 91/92/93/94/95 also took part didn't always win lol

 

its also the fastist capri ive ever driven and ive driven a few now i just love it

 

right ill stop going on and on heres some pics let us know what you think or if you know anything about the car (the bloke i got it off didn't really know anything about them)

thanks i hope to do some track days with it etc should be a right laugh it just spins for fun i don't think you can set off in it with out lighting the back wheels up its great lol
