but sometimes it pays to have a quick look at a map so you know roughly where you are going, especially whenn the sat nav signal drops out. :)

i have NEVER had the satnav signal drop....

only in very long tunnels.... but they within 5 seconds of the exit it picks it back up!

:) you need to buy a better satnav ;) haha

i used to use maps all the time.......got over 60 maps for all the different towns i went to all over uk...since having my sat nav i havnt had to go buying one map for every town, city, village i go to.......and havnt needed to look at a map for a few years now.......becomes expensive buying maps for here and their ,then you never go to that town any more

works out cheaper having a sat nav and not having to store loads of maps....and hell alot less hassle.......some places i go to you would have problems find them in a map....FACT......i dont use the sat nav all the time once ive been to a place,i can get their again with out sat nav or map.....has i can recall the place and how to get their in my head

i must deliver to at least 100 different places a week...now you try doing that using a map when i do avg 8-10 hrs just on pure driving a day...while driving through towns, streets, country lanes....while keeping a watch on everything else going on around when i only have a few spare inches per side....you would be stopping alot of times using a map......and also im restricted how how many hrs driving/working time i can do.....by law!
