greenfordpop Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 Hi all I`ve just bought on ebay a pod rev counter which can be used on a 4,6 or 8 cyclinder engine, but have no idea what wires go where There`s four wires, red, black, green and white. Can anyone help! greenfordpop AKA Barry
mk1mexico Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 My best guess if its anything like mine. Red is 12v ign live black is earth green is input from ECU/coil white is output to shift light. However i cant see the pics until i get home from work later on tonight. Also regarding the 4/6/8 cylinder bit, mine has a little switch on the back to select your preffered number of cylinders.
omj624p Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 Red is 12v ign live black is earth green is input from ECU/coil white is possibly for the illumination (small light bulb inside)
