Hi all, ok im opening a new salon and i know what i would like as my advertising sign but dont know how to do it on a p.c :roll::roll:

I really could do with some help as its only a simple design and i need to print some flyers this week.

The name of the salon is Curlee Hair Salon

Phone No is 01209 718898

My vision for the sign is is lock of curly hair as the C with a bit cut off with scissors incorporated .

Colour scheme for the sign is silver and black

Would love it if my many osfers could help me..

I can't help you as I'm a PC numpty, but why don't you sketch the idea you have in mind and scan and paste the sketch? Much more likely to get what you want that way.

I'm a designer... but i'm too busy to help at the mo, sorry! but vista's idea of scaning a sketch (no matter how poor the artistic skills) really would make a designers life easier!

Oh god, im so stupid or at least i feel it atm ... if anyone knows how to just create the C for me or tell me how to do it i would be so so happy !

Many Thanks

Thanks Scott, but i feel as its a simple design that even most p.c literate people would know how to do it ... just that person is not me

It's not the PC literacy that's the problem Lee, it's the designer needing guidance on what you want. Leave it to them and it won't turn out looking like you anticipate.

We used to have a sketch on my old office wall, it showed three different versions of a swing

1. What the customer expected

2. What the designer envisaged

3. What the builder constructed

The three sketches bore no resemblance to each other.
