Rear tire drivers side on me escort keeps going flat, changed the tire new valve etc and its still going flat  was happeneing with old wheel too, wheel was checked over by Tire fitter (He knows his cars top lad) and he could find no fault with it :? its a rs 4 spoke.

My mate thought it maybe down to lack of use and weight of fuel in tank. Rest of the tires only need a quick top up if its been stood a week or two which i expect.

Thoughts please?

it will be the alloy wheel not sealing mate, probely some lacquer missing or peeling, or have they been blasted so no lacquer?

A good tyre place can seal them for you on the rim edge with some paint on rubber that seals them
