Personally, I like them. They look well smart, the colour of the lenses suits the colour of the car.

I might get shot down here, but I'd get a gold coach line back down the side to tie it all together

I agree with Antz and think Mk1's look much better with them but mk2's less cluttered front end looks better without them.

Now, Im not sure what specific manufacturer is best, but you can get glass paint from most crafty type places and Ive heard it can be used to good affect to tint headlights/spotlights.
