Yeomans22 Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 hello just fitted chin spoiler and quarter bumpers onto my car, while i was at it i fitted some spot lights, i bought these especially 4 it, i quite like it but not totally sure if they look right, just wanted to know waht everyon else thinks with spot lights thanks Paul.
stephens_xpack Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 Personally no, but it's your car. And it's a nice looking car to.
Yeomans22 Posted April 11, 2009 Author Report Posted April 11, 2009 i haven't got another 2, ill have to get some, cheers
pauln Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 It's just extra weight and wind resistance, your car looks great without them , if the cars headlights are good enough or would do with uprated bulbs just go for that.
Yeomans22 Posted April 11, 2009 Author Report Posted April 11, 2009 im kinda after 1600 sport rally look with the car, i can get 2 more clear ones but £100 + each, shoul i just get a couple of smaller ones with covers? i got the quarter bumpers for £50 as they already had brackets bolted on, so if i take the brackets off there re some ugly holes under them, and i can't weld Paul. (does anyone have some hella rallye 2000 spotlights for sale?)
antz Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 I think mk1s looks a lot better with spot lights than mk2s. mk2s tdo look good though and you NEED another two massive cibies there
mk1super Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 Fit em then use the country lanes like a night stage
FredTransit Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 I like the spots, but only two. Looks much more balanced.
harris horse power Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 no it looks much better without them!
Admin Vista Posted April 11, 2009 Admin Report Posted April 11, 2009 I agree with Antz and think Mk1's look much better with them but mk2's less cluttered front end looks better without them.
mossy Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 no it looks much better without them! what he said!
Yeomans22 Posted April 11, 2009 Author Report Posted April 11, 2009 i have got mixed reviews on them really some people like them and some don't im going for a green and gold car so when these lights were on ebay for £20 i had them i think ill get 2 more clear ones and bolt them on underneath, then i should get an open faced crash helment and as Alex said tuen some country lanes into night stages. and the good thing is there easy enough to remove, thanks everyone Paul.
tim Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 mk2s look good with spots but they need to be cibie oscars/supers
Copey Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 i like em, yellow lenses go well with the green paint!
Yeomans22 Posted April 11, 2009 Author Report Posted April 11, 2009 heres a bit better pic, ignore the colour match, i painted the front with spray cans, im tempted to paint the rest with them too for the moment Paul.
PAUL MANN Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 get another 2,looks great ,there is a place in tamworth that do the spots their identical to cibies but not the same price even got the web address, its two minutes from your mates house click on svc light then onto driving lights there about half way down here is the link http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/
Yeomans22 Posted April 11, 2009 Author Report Posted April 11, 2009 thanks Paul, there are a pair of smaller clear ones on ebay atm , im gonna get them then try and wire them up, they would be useful when blasting down lichfield road.
