5hane Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 harrrrdddddddddddd hmm, nice standard car, all minty, and fresh as it should be. Or full arched with a huge NA cossie under the bonnet i think i would keep the harrier, in standard trim- all looking standard, ONLY visual mod being race-car height but with a full monty snorting xflow running TB's and the rest - and thats what i plan to do but i it was 1 extream or the other - i think i would choose option 2, i would restore the harrier BUT i would also buy a historic spec mk1 like posted above
wild pete Posted April 16, 2009 Report Posted April 16, 2009 OPTION 1 FOR ME STANDARD LOOKING BUT WITH ALL THE GOODIES TO MAKE IT GI STOP AND HANDLE
Retromotorsport Posted April 17, 2009 Author Report Posted April 17, 2009 I'm quite shocked .... i really thought it would be the other way round
Jules Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 I opted for option one but would also love a concourse twincam, rs1600 or rs1800 not picky. But to be able to throw one round a track. And not woory if it gets bent as the money to throw at it would be so easy available
sampedlar06 Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 option one for me but i would have it road legal. cars are ment to be driven not just polished and wrapped up in cotton wool.
mk2dk Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 I'd go for a historic race car, running BDA power. I love the look, the sound and the atmosphere around the track/pits. And I'm also convinced that a historic race car is'nt the worst place to invest money, they are expensive today and always will be. Option 1
caprinerd Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 option 1 full race zakspeed capri road legal

And yeah.. i know its newish school, but i still love it, big V8 , big wheels .. and built originally form a brand new Escos shell
mk2dk Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 Absolutely perfect for me, the 2 Castrol mk2s are so right.
Yeomans22 Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 i would have a standard rs1800 or a silver harrier, i can still take them to the track
bronze4door Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 if it needed work i would fast road it but if it was all original it would be concourse
