well when i say sciving i mean ive took a days paid holiday, all above board vista, i dont throw sickies, never have to, ive got a great gaffer and i just rang him early this morn and asked for a day off and he said yeah no probs, i get 2 weeks paid hols a year

How come you only get 2 weeks paid holiday then? If you are on PAYE you are entitled to more than that

The law recently changed. All F/T PAYE employees are entitled to 29 days per year including Bank Holidays.

its actually 20+ days but i cant remeber the exact number jo.

It's okay ... you said 2 week's that's all and I thought your company were diddling you out of your legal entitlement of 5.6 weeks (28 working days incl Bank Hols)
