antz Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 My dad has had 'Billy' just over a year now and has spent the last year improving it slowly. He isnt perfect but thats how my dad likes it. Built to be driven and it certainly does annoy the boy racers! Anyway ill shut and let the pics do the talking...

My dad called it Billy and no your not the only one to think of BJ.my mother often calls it that which is VERY embarressing He will be bringing it to CF show and joining everyone on the stand again

rob-85 Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Ah, my old 4 door. It had a 1100 x/flow when i owned it, and covered only approx 46k ish from new. cracking little motor. changed for the better now though.. Back in the day, about 4 years ago....

I dont know the mileage now as the speedo no longer works but it stopped reading at 47k so its probably still sub 50k. He uses a satelite speedo thingy now as its more accurate but obviously doesnt show how many miles its covered.

Yep, and that was genuine mileage too, when i sold it on i had loads of MOTs to verify, seems these were not handed to you by the previous owner. I remember speaking to your dad about this last year at the Pod. I was well shocked to walk past and see that parked up.

Thats a shame, its good keep all the history, but obviously not important to some peop. You going to be on the stand at the Pod? If so ill have a chat with you both there.
