Guest Posted May 9, 2009 Report Posted May 9, 2009 hi all, been registered here a long time just never posted own a 1980 mk2 escort 4 door that some people may know! bought it from this site over a year ago. its changed a lot since then, its satin black and rust free with steel instead of filler arches also now the latest mod involved the fitment of a ca18det 1.8 turbo engine from a 200sx s13! took me 8 days start to finish to fit the engine and then 4 days later ive managed to spin a bearing in the bottom end! going to rebuild it over the next couple of days and then look towards 5 linking it. hoping to have it all sorted for classic ford at the pod will get some pics asap! cheers
