over_head_cam Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Not having any problems Fred. I use Firefox all the time as I've got a bug in IE I can't get rid of. I just tried Netscape too and that's fine. I'm no tech expert so I don't have any ideas

ZetecVan 2.0 Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 Right, this could be a number of things, and from what I've read may be down to any firefox extensions you have installed. Try uninstalling or disabling any add ons, or running in no addons mode. To disable all of Firefox's add-ons, you have to open the browser in its Safe Mode (no relation to Windows' own Safe Mode) by clicking Start > All Programs > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode). A quicker way is to press the Windows key (in XP, follow this by pressing R), type Firefox -safe-mode, and press Enter. In the Firefox Safe Mode dialog box that appears before Firefox opens, click "Disable all add-ons" and choose the Make Changes and Restart button to run the browser with no add-ons or extensions enabled. Let us know how you get on.

FredTransit Posted January 22, 2010 Author Report Posted January 22, 2010 I am back on Firefox. Don't know when it cleared, hadn't checked in a few days. I also had to re install a couple of the ad ons to firefox as they stopped working.

Hope it comes back soon! EDIT! Just tried the forum directly on Firefox and it's OK now. So the proxy not working might have been a sign.
FredTransit Posted May 5, 2010 Author Report Posted May 5, 2010 It's gone again, as of yesterday. Also I notice the forum is running very slow, and i am getting a lot of 'Timed out' messages. Not sure if this is due to the proxy though.
