I'd have said RIP cool escort after the smash.....but....evidently still around albeit with a colour change.

Who noticed that the footage featured 2 different cars though,

Initially its DKP191T then the second clip of it coming along a straight is a V plate car, looks like FEK472V and that one is long gone,

DKP was definitely the one that was totalled, but FEK was last taxed in 1982, the year of the footage shown, who reckons there was a bit of VIN plate skull duggery going on?

The vehicle details for DKP 191T are:

Date of Liability 01 05 2007

Date of First Registration 18 05 1979

Year of Manufacture 1979

Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2000CC

CO2 Emissions Not Available

Fuel Type Petrol

Export Marker Not Applicable

Vehicle Status SORN Not Due

Vehicle Colour WHITE

The vehicle details for FEK 472V are:

Date of Liability 21 09 1982

Date of First Registration 04 09 1979

Year of Manufacture 1979

Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1975CC

CO2 Emissions Not Available
