Always chamois the car off after washing it but not after it has rained because someone once told me that you won't get watermarks from rainwater ... can't say I've taken much notice as to whether that is true or not :lol::lol:

i dry my bonnet before i open it if its been raining because all the water runs through my vents and lands right on top of the air filter and carb

if i had paint worthy of being polished and looking nice then i would dry it after washing it but i wouldnt bother keep drying it after rain as it would probably rain once i had dried it :lol:

I always dry it off after washing it. If your using wash and wax stuff then let it drip dry it can leave horrible water marks.

I dont bother drying it after its rained though, since the car will be probablly dirty anyway and drying it will just put swirls into your paintwork.
