The one I suggested mate, or Limewire. Most bands I've searched for you can get their whole discography.

Download bittorrnt & install it, search for the bands you want on www.isohunt.com & it will download through bittorent, once the file is deleted remove it from bittorrent else people can still upload from you & that's the illegal part of file sharing

why bother downloading bittorrent?? just download limewire and use it as your torrent client, it automatically sets itself up as the default torrent client so you can either search through limewire and do a P2P download off someone else or seach "torrents.to" which is a search engine for about 20 different torrent sites and use limewire to download the torrent!

Dunno, I can't remember why I changed  I know I used to use Kazaa & limewire but it all got a bit dodgy with virus's or summat, this was years ago though

I take it nobody worries about being pursued for illegal file sharing?

I'm always in two minds about the whole business as

a. I resent the music industries habit of constantly changing formats. For instance, some of my collection I have now purchased 3 times: vinyl, cassette and CD. Why should I purchase it again when the next generation music player arrives? Have I not already paid enough for the rights to listen to those pieces of music?

b. On the other hand, if I had Limewire or similar on my PC, the temptation to use it to download new music that I hadn't previously purchased would be huge. As soon as I do that am I not stealing the same way I would be if I broke into someones garage and nicked some of their OSF goodies?

As long as I don't have people constantly uploading from my machine it doesn't bother me, it is a risk but I'll take my chances... I download maybe 1 film or 1 album a month.

The illegal part is letting people upload it? So there's nothing illegal about downloading? Hmmmm I'm not convinced the artists would agree with you.

And smokem, debate is my raison d'etre

They are all in it for the money mate, Even back in the day I can't see that the likes of Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin or Deep Purple would have toured the world and spent ages in the studio if they weren't turning a pretty penny for doing so.
