mk1mexico Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 Now iv got a lovely new Straight cut box to go in my car, and a spanking new shiny billet lightened flywheel. Im waiting for an AP Racing clutch to arrive from Burton Power (which i ordered last Wed ) But i realllllllly want it all in for Classic Ford Now how late do i leave it before i should just leave it and make the trip on my old set up? (nothing wrong with it etc). Obviously i would want a few miles on the new parts before setting off on the 550 mile round trip to the pod. Im thinking if it dont come tomorrow then i should leave it, i do have the luxury of a full garage set-up with lift etc, so i would only be a few hours work. Im also fancying the sideways arena so would like the stronger stuff fitted for peace of mind. Help!
Admin Vista Posted May 27, 2009 Admin Report Posted May 27, 2009 As it's only a few days away it would already be too late for me to change it as you never know what might not quite fit or not work properly on the road test and then you'd be short of time to swap it all back again.

I have no idea how long it will take me to get to J19, all i know is last year it took around 3 and a half hours to Watford Gap. EDIT iv just had a little google, and at a guess i would say between 11.30 and 12 noon, but it could be either side mate
