How about meeting up at Sainsburys Marsh Mills site, say 11.15 or 11.30, grab a brew in the coffee shop then head up around 12? Anyone en route between Plymouth & Exeter want to join in I suggest they wait in a convenient lay by on the A38 and pick up as we go by. Looking like being a good day out, anyone got any ideas for a drive? I was thinking maybe along Exmouth seafront?

Admin Vista Posted January 18, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 18, 2007 Hi, sorry to butt in, but is it possible for the devon rsoc to attend this, please Everybody is welcome and some of our members will not be able to bring their OSF's and will as a consequence be coming in modern motors, but with respect if you're planning to arrive in an assortment of Escort RST's and Cosworth Escort and Sierras, please bear in mind that it is primarily an Old skool meet and a fairly important one at that as it's our first. No offence intended and many of us do like some of these but it's our first South West old Skool meet and I think the original intention was for the regular users of the site from the area to get to know each other. I'm hoping I've been tactful here as my personal opinion is the more the merrier but if we get swamped by large numbers from a well established club with lots of members, the chances of us establishing bonds with other OSF members we've not met before are reduced, and will therefore make it harder to get a regular thing going. Of course I do not speak for others, and if the general feeling is bring it on, then HEY bring it on! What do others reckon?

Be a shame to have Old Skool in road with car park full of plastic etc. Hope thats ok with everyone else.....
