pinto or 24valve cossy

right still have hairy and have fell on to a 24valve cossy granny this week and was thinking of putting that in instead what you think,

 

is they much to be gained by doing this or not my pinto is a very strong engine

200 bhp from a standard motor, thats what them 24v cossys make, no question about it, I would put it in. Plus V6 rumble

well they is one of two i can put it in roger might just leave hairy alone

 

so they are 220bhp what sort of torque figure is it to give me some idea if it is worth while doing the install into some thing else

dont bother save yourself some time and effort youll only sell it unfinished 24v all the way , had one in me sierra great motor

24v, V6 growl. If whetever your putting it in has enough room. Id go for it...

If you're talking about putting it in the Mk3 Cortina than I say go for the V6, not so sure I'd try squeezing it into an escort though.

24v, more power than you could get from a pinto for any reasonable amount of money... =)

24V, no matter how "strong" the pinto is it won't touch the 24V

 

The BOA in good fettle and on a standard ECU will give you 165 odd at the rear wheels (bowt 210 at the fly), seen quite a few on the RR and that's the top figure or very close to it
