thanks to Hilux, my atlas gasket came today, spent the last couple of hours, removing my diff cover cleaning off the old gasket, and fitting the new one. Looks ok with no leaks, so should be good to race. Just need to get my cage fitted too. Hopefully have that in tomorrow night.

you can get into the strip up until midnight on Sat, they have a live band on. I am going to head up after tea on Sat, so I'll miss Sats practice. Camp over and enter the race on Sunday. Hope to beat my previous best 1/4 with was 16.6 secs. That time was ran at York too.

 

Really hoping it doesnt rain, last time I went there it rained and they wouldnt let RWD cars run. Only let FWD and 4x4s go up the strip

well its 9.30 pm, just came inside the house now, starting to loose daylight outside. The cage is loosley bolted in place, just need to fix it tight and fit my harnessess, should get that done tomorrow night after work. Then ready to go

will people look out for me and give me a shout when I arrive on Sat evening, I dont really know any of the OSF drag crew, only met a few of the northern OSF people. So I dont really know who to look for. I'll be in the dirty dark blue capri pictured in my sig with a light blue roll cage.

dont quote me, but I think its roughly £10 each day to access the track, £5 to camp on sat, and then something like £30 to race, but I think they do discounts if you camp/go for 2 days,

 

theres something more written about this in the drag chat room. I am heading there 6pm sat, cos if you arrive after 6, you only get charged for a nights camping plus sunday, rather than sat, sun, and camping
