I hate it when you see something on eBay and think 'I want that' and you watch it and think 'I really want that' then you do some math and realise you cant really afford it but still think 'i want that'.....you watch it down to the last five minutes thinking 'i want that but cant afford it. ill see what it goes for just out of curiousity' then it hits 20 seconds to go and suddenly your mouse moves without you knowing and then......youve bid and just won the item.

You think YAHOO IVE JUST WON IT!. quickly followed by OH COCK IT. WHY DID I JUST BUY THAT! I DONT NEED IT AND CANT AFFORD IT!...but with ebay being a legally binding contract you pay for it anyway and try to look on the bright side you are now the proud owner of yet more shit you cant afford and dont need.....but it looks pretty!

Ive just done it again :oops::roll::oops::shock:

Well done  It's a good thing, little things like that are what add up to make you a real man

it also adds up to emptying my bank account rather quickly :sad::lol:

Where the buggery are you gonna fit that onto an Escort - waste of pennies lol

That is a valid point! Although in the last week I have ordered two front wings, front panel, two rear arches, brake resevoir cap, steering rack polybushes, alloy oil cap and contemplated booking it in for a full resto and respray.

It's now a lot more worn, a little older, and I love it even more!!

It's a '99 Thinline RI, with Callaham pots and switch, overwound wide range pickups with the 'Frailin' mod, and a lot of my sweat and blood probably

I mess about with guitars (playing and modifying... and restoring) when I'm not working on the capri. Any one else do this??
