willsy Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Well done to all Old Skool Ford cars and drivers today. As usual they were the ones that made the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end
Toby Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Good pics mate It was a good day with Andy Harris running an amazing 11.2 - that car needs to get up to Pod! Well done Andy Ron managed a 13.1 and I did a 13.40 - it seemed more slippery this year, but I had more power with my "un-blocked" exhaust so maybe that's why. I don't know what Jon Bullion ran in his lovely escort, although I know he just treats it as a good fun day out - his thing is track days really. I feel a little sun kissed!
Mr Sam Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 BLIMEY @ Andy's time and good to see your motor out Toby, was Ron racing or was it Tony in his car?

Toby Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 ....my clutch was slipping all day.... I've heard one of the models of the BMW M3 came with launch control which combined clutch slip with wheel spin - so a bit of slip my not have been all bad for your times...

Jeff HPE Motorsport Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 Toby 11.2 i wished 12.2 mate am well happy though seeing as i have only managed 12.6..... I meant 12.2 - sorry typo - my impressedness was for the 12.2 Flippin' fast - all those little bits add up I thought James' time was going to be unbeatable....shows what I know! Well done to everyone that competed.. Well done to Andy & me Dad especially the time me Bruv did ! would have been faster in his last run if all the fuffing about hadn`t delayed him! Yeh Toby Andy`s 12.2 and James` 12.3 not bad eh!! Well done Toby By my reckoning when your 75 your time would be a couple of seconds slower >> Jeff Harris..
Toby Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 Yes - shame about James' time - he'll just have to make sure he's not away next year!! TBH I think Andy's times could have been better - I've got some photos of the start line - it was like a flippin' cement factory! And FYI - by the time I'm 75 I will have been tinkering for a few more years and will be using my 175,000 gigga watt flux capacitor powered pre-crossflow Good to see you
Toby Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 fpmsl .... it deffo was not me Mr Tody but it's bloody funny that someone else on here has the same sense of humour as me : Funny ha ha or funny peculiar?
