Monkfish Posted September 18, 2009 Report Posted September 18, 2009 It's all go at Flip-Flop headquarters: after three years working full time on Classic Ford, I've stepped down as Features Editor to go freelance. If you've not already seen the thread, and you fancy sitting in my slightly soiled chair then go here... http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... p?t=104537 I'll still be working for CF as much as possible, covering events, feature cars and many elements of my old job, so I'll still very much be around (like it or not!). The plus side is I get a whole load more time to do the stuff I enjoy: sitting around in my pants, dogging and pissballing about with old Fords. Massive thanks to all the people I've met in the last three years and helped make this the best job in the world; I've made some good friends and it's much appreciated. As I've already said, I'm not really going anywhere, but if you see me out and about and feel the need to buy me a leaving beer then none will be refused! However, you wont spot me in the More-Door (yes, I said 'More', as in more than two! ), as the engine-less shell was collected last night before I braved it on public transport, on the Tube with a wedge of cash and a puckered ring, and up to Luton to collect my latest toy: better known as Deano1351's Mk2 Cortina. (Sorry for robbing your pic temporarily!) Plans? Ashton Power as soon as the weather turns sour, then it's play time! See, it's been busy times. Just as well I've got next week to set up my 'home office'. AKA pants, laptop and possibly a tie. See y'all soon and for the OSF love!

Monkfish Posted September 21, 2009 Author Report Posted September 21, 2009 I'd say good luck Gareth, but I know you don't need it You're mad for Classic fords and that's where the journo bit falls in Will we still see your mug on the editorial page? Good question, I guess it'll be pixelated out. Either that, or crudely photoshopped in an abusive manner Thanks everyone for the various words of encouragement. I've got my fingers crossed it works out and I don't end up having to get a 'proper' job!
